Spirit Contest 2010
Reaching potential students and engaging the community were the goals of the 2010 Sinclair Spirit Contest.
The 2010 Sinclair Spirit Contest challenged area high school students to create videos capturing the unique spirit of their school. The videos were tehn entered into a contest in which the general public voted for the most spirited high school.
More than 8000 votes from 27 states and three countries were cast. Fairborn High School received the most votes with Piqua and West Carrollton High Schools both qualifying as finalists.
Fairborn students were honored Friday, December 10, during a varsity basketball game. The school was given a trophy, a banner and a Flip Video camera for shooting next year's video. News Center 7 Sports Director Mike Hartsock, along with Sinclair’s mascot, presented the trophy to the students.
Congratulations to Fairborn, Piqua and West Carrollton High Schools. You can watch the three finalists’ videos at www.sinclairspiritcontest.com
