John earned a B.B.A. degree from Texas A&I University in 1969, and a J.D. degree from St. Mary’s University in 1974.

Procurement/Materials Management

Jerry won the prestigious 2007 North Carolina AARP Legacy Award and the 2008 National AARP Andrus Award for Community Service and Leadership.

Patricia A. Willeke

Liberal Arts

Patricia is now retired from the Ohio Hospital Association and Columbus State Community College and is marrying a retired professor from Miami University.

Theresa A. Etienne

Dental Hygiene

Theresa has enjoyed 23 years of rewarding patient care and community service in the dental hygiene field.

Tony G. Gibbons

Business

Tony obtained an M.S. degree in library and information science from Kent State University in 2004, and is currently working at Ex Libris in Chicago as an implementation librarian.

1988

Pamela S. Tyler

Liberal Arts

Pam earned a Ph.D. in gerontology from the University of Kentucky in 2005. She has since moved back to Ohio to live closer to her first grandchild – and hopefully future Sinclair Community College student.

Bob was recently nominated by Judge Walter Rice to serve on the executive board of the American Veterans Heritage Center.

Lori McNett

Legal Assisting

Lori was recently promoted to manager of operations and administration at PEQ. In addition to her Sinclair degree, she has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.

Jessica L. Finney

Mental Health Technology

Jessica received a B.S.W. degree from Central State University and an M.S.Ed. degree from the University of Dayton. She is currently seeking employment at a college or university.

1999

Jeffrey L. Stipe

Mechanical Engineering Technology

Jeff now works as a tooling engineer with Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati. He is also currently working on a B.B.A. degree and plans to pursue an M.B.A. or M.S. degree in finance.

2004

Nathan P. Pitsenbarger

General Business Management

Nathan now works as a data input specialist for ABF Freight System’s relief billing department.

Katrina L. Reed

English Education

Katrina received B.A. and M.Ed. degrees in English education. She is currently an English teacher working with at-risk high school students.

Michael T. Woods

Accounting

Michael just graduated from Western Michigan University, with a bachelor of science degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics.

2006

Daniel Lakovic

Business

Daniel is completing a bachelor’s degree in international business at Wright State University. He is very involved in campus activities and encourages all Sinclair students to transfer to Wright State after earning their Sinclair degrees.

Hope D. Arthur joined Sinclair Community College in 2007, with over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, hospitality and management. She manages the David H. Ponitz Sinclair Center, workforce marketing and Project Lead the Way.
