With Sinclair’s transition from quarters to semesters moving forward, the transition committee has reviewed over 1,200 custom software programs affected by the change. To date, three-quarters of those programs have been analyzed for revision or elimination. The information technology department has tested a system for student records, billing and
financial-aid information that will function on a semester schedule and has been configured with the academic calendar.
Sinclair named “Best Place to Work”
Sinclair is proud to have earned one of Dayton Business Journal’s 2011 Best Places to Work Awards. There were a record 139 local entries this year, competing to be crowned one of the 15 winners. The results of the surveys were used to give each company a score, which was used to determine the winners.
